Conductor is joining Meta, which Axios (external site) reports has acquired it; financial terms were not disclosed.
What should I export before Nov 20?#
- Cloud workspaces and chats. Right-click each cloud workspace in the Mac app and choose Transfer to local (announcement (external site)).
- Everything else. Go to Settings → Account → Export data to download an archive of all your Conductor data (announcement (external site)).
- Branches. Push any branch you want to keep to your git remote, so it doesn't live only in a cloud workspace.
- Do it before Nov 13. After that, Cloud is read-only: you can still export, but agents can't take new messages.

How do I switch from Conductor to Traycer?#
- Download Traycer for macOS, Windows or Linux (download).
- Connect your agents. Use the Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or OpenCode subscriptions you already have (coding agents (external site)).
- Open your repo and start a Task. Run several agents in parallel, each on its own worktree (worktrees guide (external site)).
- Port your setup script. Move your Conductor setup script to Traycer's per-repo setup script (setup and teardown scripts (external site)).
- Optional: add a remote host. On another machine, run npm install -g @traycerai/cli, then traycer login, then traycer host ensure, and activate the host in Settings (remote hosts (external site)).
- Install the mobile app for iOS or Android to follow and drive agents from your phone (mobile app (external site)).
- Bring your team. Share a Task by email or GitHub handle, or move the whole team to Sync (sharing (external site)).
Does Traycer have a hosted option like Conductor Cloud?#
Traycer has two ways to run agents off your laptop. Remote hosts are free: install the Traycer CLI on another machine you own, sign in, and run traycer host ensure; on Linux the host runs as a systemd user service (remote hosts (external site)).
